Is going to school for a "Cybersecurity Degree" really worth it? Today I outlined six main ideas into what it's like to be a student in the I.T. security industry. My hopes are that the six main ideas I outline will give you insight into what it's really like in the security realm.

Saying the word "cybersecurity student" can be a bit misleading... Just go look at the comment section of my "Day in the Life of a Cybersecurity Student"... Many individuals want to believe cybersecurity is one fixed set of skills, talents, or qualities... It's not. Remember that being a cybersecurity student one place in the world doesn't necessarily mean you learn the same content on the other side. These six main ideas can be applied to all curriculums.
