How to Setup MikroTik RouterOS In GNS3
install mikrotik on gns3

How to simulated Mikrotik by using GNS3 for study and design your networks. Planning RouterOS Networks with GNS3. Provide adequate knowledge to make you comfortable running RouterOS in GNS3.

Learning Mikrotik without RouterBoard Using GNS3, this time I will share a way to Install Mikrotik in GNS3 using VirtualBox to create Mikrotik Packet Tracer: D. Why VirtualBox? Why not use Qemu just lightly? The answer is because it’s easier. So it’s better to use an easier one instead of going straight to the hard one.

Okay, we just start How to Install and Setting Mikrotik in GNS3 using VirtualBox. But first, prepare the weapons and ammunition first:

Download GNS3. Please download GNS3 v1.2.3 here (In this tutorial I am using GNS3 version 1.2.3, if using different version maybe way and its menu also different) or can directly download the latest version in its web gns3.com.

If you are a MikroTik engineer or a student learning MikroTik, you surely require to do LABS in order to understand better what you are learning. Sometimes the LAB can go to over 5-10 routers and it will be very costly in case you want to buy all those routers.

In this video I will show you how you can create MikroTik LABS to emulate MikroTik RouterOS and use them to do the LAB scenario that you want to do, and it will work as you are connecting to real MikroTik Router, and yes it is free of charge solution.

With this solution that I am showing you on this course, you can create the LAB scenario that you want and practice the LAB that you want using GNS3 software combined with VirtualBox or QEMU and of course with the use of the MikroTik CHR image.
