In the final episode of the current Women Rock-IT series, we meet Meghann Rhynard-Geil, Technology for Development Advisor at Mercy Corps.  Meghann consults globally to integrate digital communication and community-building tools in crisis affected communities.  With 65 million people forced from their homes and 141 million people in need of humanitarian assistance, the aid community is stretched to its limits and faces unprecedented challenges.  The work Meghann does for Mercy Corps is more important that ever.
We also meet a finalists of Cisco's Global Problem Solver Challenge Sona Shah, CEO and Co-Founder of Neopenda.  Sona and her Co-founder have a shared passion for global health and innovative technology.  After learning that nearly 3 million babies die in their first month of life every year, and 98% of these deaths occur in the developing world, Sona saw a need for a vital signs monitor to aid babies in countries with low resources.
