In traditional SDI a broadcast engineer could always test a configuration through the use of a simple camera, cable and monitor setup. In the new world of SDI over IP things are perceived to have got a bit more complicated. We now have new technologies such as AMWA IS-04 Discovery and Registration that are needed to help improve the ease of use for broadcasters when they are using IP.

This video provides a brief overview of the benefits of broadcast services such as AMWA IS-04 Discovery and Registration and how it’s advantageous to have it available in the broadcast network.
