Project Nebula showcases a storage co-location use case, where a storage array is hosted in a datacenter next to a public cloud via a direct high-throughput low-latency link. This allows users to provision compute resources from a public cloud but to consume co-located storage array resources for improved performance, economics and compliance. The video uses an on-prem vSphere cluster for the compute and DellEMC Unity and VxFlex for the storage.
