What’s a data center? In this episode, I describe the parts of a data center. Not just the IT space, where all the IT equipment like servers live, but also the electrical system space, and cooling system space. Then I explain three different types of data centers, and finally finish it up with some actual pictures of different data centers and point out various facts as I go.
