20191124 UNIFI US-16-XG 10Gb Amazing results in performance and load tests !

UNIFI US-16-XG 10Gb switch DELIVERS amazing results in performance and stands up to the challenge of 10Gb home and business networking if you storage system is ready ;) especially in VMWARE environment ! IO testing with IOZONE, FIO; IPERF speedtest of 10Gb network after setup of UNIFI US-16-XG 10Gbit switch with Synology NAS. Confirming setup in UniFI controller, running benchmarks and tests to validate 10Gbit/s network is delivering results as expected.

Following tests and benchmarks done:
1. Hardware update and configuration ( 1:47 )
2. Update configuration in UNIFI Controller ( 4:09 )
3. Windows 10 file transfer to / from Synology DS1817+ with 10Gb card and R6 4TB group (6+2) WD red NAS drives. ( 6:07 )
4. FIO test for VM RedHat 7.4 using Synology NAS provisioned datastore as a boot drive. ( 9:47 )
5. IOZONE test for RedHat 7.4 VM. ( 13:34 )
6. Hardware Settings and card placement ( 15:33 )
7. iPERF 3 test to validate cards can delivery 10Gb. ( 17:25 )
8. Cabling requirements and general recommendations ( 24:21 )
