Lecture 14: Blocking Youtube and Facebook in MikroTik RouterOS using TLS Host. TLS feature is available on MikroTik RouterOS version greater than 6.41. If your RouterOS version is less than 6.41 which you need to upgrade RouterOS to the latest bug free version. Eventually we can block any HTTPS websites by using TLS Host. And its very efficient that RouterOS is going to check up to layer 4 TCP. We all knows we can block any websites by using Layer 7 filtering but I do not recommend you to use Layer 7 to filter websites, because it takes high CPU resources, finally routerOS will start dropping packets.
