Media Converter (MC) is a component of fiber optic internet connection which is used for converting electronic data signal to light signal and light signal to electrical signal.
It is essential for Broadband Internet Connection.

You can use Media Converter similler as
FTTx: FTTH, FTTC, FTTB.

2 Media Converters are needed for the MC fiber Optic Internet Connection. One for ISP end and another one for User end.

2 MC, 2 TJ box, 2 fiber Optic patch cord, 2 Rj 45 patch cord and a good length of fiber optic cable are needed for ISP to User Home Connection. It is almost like FTTH connection method in OLT.

2 MC, 2 TJ box, 2 fiber Optic patch cord, 1 Rj 45 patch cord, A Network Switch, 1 good length of Copper Wire (cat5/6) and a good length of fiber optic cable are needed for ISP to Electric Pole to User Home Connection. It is almost like FTTC connection method in OLT.
