In this video, we show why we think the PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD era will be when we see a marked decline in data center SATA SSDs. We go into some of the architectural challenges for servers to make the transition. We then discuss how the 2019 AMD EPYC 7002 "Rome" changes that as well as the 2020-2021 Ampere Altra Arm server CPU and eventually the Intel Ice Lake Xeon generation. Changes are coming to servers with the PCIe Gen4 transition that will accelerate the shift away from data center SATA SSD usage.

Also, we are trying a few new light/ camera/ lens options in this video, some did not go well.
