The Fiber Optic Association, as the international professional society of fiber optics, gets many inquiries from people interested in careers in fiber optics. This video was created to introduce the newcomer - particularly the student in Jr. High or High School - to the types of careers that exist in fiber optics, how to learn more about them and how to prepare for a career in this fast-growing field.
FOA also has a YouTube video called "Where Are The Jobs In Fiber Optics" that is more specific about jobs themselves, aimed at those already in the fiber optic field who are looking for new places to look for jobs.
