I just picked up this little 5 port tplink gigabit desktop switch and the model number is TL-SG105. It looks a lot like another 5 port metal switche that is also available but higher priced, this particular switch supports 1000/100/10Mbps or 1Gbps, 100Mbps and 10Mbps.

I'm using it to extend my gigabit network from one part of the room to another and it will future proof my setup as I have spare ports. TP-Link products from my personal experience are both affordable and reliable, I already have several other 5/8 port plastic case switches and some wifi access points.
