In this tutorial. I will show you How to Configure IPIP tunnel in Mikrotik Router. PIP tunnel is a simple protocol that encapsulates IP packets in IP to make a tunnel between two routers. IPIP tunnel ensures site-to-site VPN. Many Routers, including Cisco and Linux, support this Protocol. The main goal is to connect two remote sites over the internet or leased line and access to company’s internal server by configuring this IPIP tunnel.

There is an increasing demand nowadays to connect remote office from distant locations to head office network. VPN technology provides the solution by allowing office to establish virtual private tunnel to enter internal network, acccessing resources and data via an insecure network such as internet or secured leased line.
