Figuring out how to power outdoor HD cameras, small cells or Wi-Fi access points can be a costly hassle. In this Graybar Product Spotlight video, CommScope Principal Field Application Engineer, Kevin Paschal, explains how CommScope’s Powered Fiber Cable System reduces the cost and complexity of install in extended distance power over Ethernet and networking applications.

The Powered Fiber Cable System uses the same cable to distribute both optical fiber signals and the necessary DC power, so network operators can locate remote devices anywhere they can run fiber cable. It also allows the network to deliver low-voltage power from a centralized source without the need to install extra conduits, transformers or remote uninterrupted power supplies (UPS).
