Level 1: Back to the Basics has been finished! This past week and a half I started with the underlying fundamentals with python programming. Most of the objectives (for me personally) were refreshers, but I still learned some new concepts pertaining to security in Python.
Why Am I Learning Python for Cybersecurity?: Python is one of the most commonly used languages throughout the software development and security industry. With its extensible libraries and "easy-to-learn" syntax, Python offers great scripting capabilities for security professionals. Not only is Python good for scripting, but it's fast. Starting with a high-level programming language, like Python, is a great way to introduce yourself to the security industry.
I hope you can find this Episode and Level 1 helpful while you start to learn Python.
