The purpose of this video is to demonstrate vtp pruning on cisco devices. We will go through the vtp pruning command that you use on cisco switches to turn vtp pruning on and off. Then we will fully explain what vtp pruning is, how vtp pruning works, and whether or not vtp pruning is enabled by default.

The vtp pruning configuraton on a trunk port is very simple and it is not enabled by default. Then will also have demonstrate the configuration with a vtp pruning lab on gns3.
