In this Video the below points are covered.

1.) Physical View of LIM [LIM modules has no amplifier], SLA [SLA contains a single (Pre-amplifier) (EDFA),]and MLA (Mid stage line amplifier)Module.
2.) Circuit and Block diagram of LIM, SLA and MLA Module.
3.) Port and interface description of LIM, SLA and MLA Module.
4.) Basic and detailed difference and similarity between LIM, SLA and MLA Module.
5.) IF LIM has no amplifier , why it is used in Optical system ?
6.) What is the similarity between the LIM, SLA and MLA Module.

Difference between Ciena LIM,SLA and MLA:-

LIM (line interface module ) :- [LIM modules has no amplifier]
SLA (single line amplifier ) :- [SLA contains a single (pre-amplifier) (EDFA),]
MLA (Midstage line amplifier) :- [MLA Module contains two (EDFA) . One in both direction providing pre and post amplifier configuration]
